New strategic agreement alliance in place
Councilwoman Bonnie Sue Cooper announces a strategic alliance agreement created at the North American International Trade Corridor Partnership Conference.
Priority Logistics, Inc., one of the fastest growing logistics companies in the country with corporate offices located in Kansas City and Monterrey, Mexico, has signed a strategic alliance agreement with one of the largest logistics companies at Laredo, Texas.
This alliance will enable Priority Logistics to offer a seamless door-to-door freight and distribution service between any points in Mexico and the United States.
The principals in the new venture have more than 75 years of combined experience in the areas of customs clearance, transportation, distribution and logistics management.
The company offers the following services:
Door-to-door freight coordination and execution (air, over the road, railroad and ocean).
Full United States and Mexico custom broker services.
Full warehousing services including storage, re-labeling, re-packaging, consolidation and distribution.
“Just in Time” capabilities.
Freight monitoring in real time in Mexico and the United States.
David Burdick of Property Logistics, Inc., stated that the opportunity for this alliance would not have happened without the international promotion efforts of Councilwoman Bonnie Sue Cooper, Kansas City, Mo., and chair of the Kansas City, Missouri-Mexico Business Development Office; and former Mayor Pro-Tem of Kansas City, Mo., George Blackwood, vice chair of the North American International Trade Corridor Partnership.
“Kansas City initiatives to promote local companies in the international marketplace have helped up tremendously,” Burdick said.
