23rd Street viaduct reopens
The City of Kansas City Mo., has reopened the 23rd Street viaduct after more than 18 months of work. Crews will continue to finalize repairs through November. Limited lane closures may occur during that time.
The $13 million project included reinforcement and repaving of one of the main entryways to Kemper Arena and the American Royal.
Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians should use caution in areas adjacent to active construction sites, as conditions can change rapidly.
