Unclaimed vehicle auction to be held Sept. 21
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Tow Services Division will auction off approximately 275 unclaimed vehicles on Sept. 21 at its quarterly Premium Auto Auction. It will be held at the Vehicle Impound Facility, 7750 E. Front St., beginning at 10 a.m. Registration is from 8-11 a.m.
To participate, bidders must be at least 18 and attend the auction in person with a state ID. Buyers must pay for their vehicles with cash or a cashier’s check by 4:30 p.m. after the auction concludes.

The goal of the City's Premium Auto Auction is to provide opportunities for buyers to purchase vehicles at prices below retail. There is no reserve on these vehicles, and they are sold to the highest bidder. Many of the vehicles were obtained through police actions and seizures. All vehicles are sold “as is” with no warranty.
