City’s annual charity campaign begins Sept. 16
The City of Kansas City, Mo., will officially begin its participation in the Kansas City Combined Charity Campaign Sept. 16, at 9:30 a.m. in IIus W. Davis Park, across the street from City Hall.
The City of Kansas City, Mo., consistently has among the highest percentage of employees who participate in the annual charity campaign, compared to other local government agencies.
A talent show will be conducted as part of the kickoff’s festivities, during which City employees will compete for first, second and third place trophies. The theme for this event is “Kansas City's APOLLO Theater.” “APOLLO” is the acronym for A Public Organization with a Legacy of Loving Others.
