Intersection of Raytown Road at Stadium Drive remains closed

The City of Kansas City, Mo., is alerting motorists that the intersection of Raytown Road and Stadium Drive remains closed. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

To go south on Stadium Drive from Interstate 435, drivers can use 40 Highway to Van Brunt Boulevard to Emanuel Cleaver Boulevard going south to Leeds to Stadium Drive east.

To access Raytown Road, drivers can exit Stadium Drive to 40 Highway, and then go west to Interstate 70/Van Brunt Boulevard to Emanuel Cleaver Boulevard to Leeds.

There is no access to Stadium Drive south of Manchester Trafficway. Drivers can use Blue Ridge Cut-off to Interstate 70 to Van Brunt Boulevard.

A water main break Aug. 30 damaged the road. The water main has been repaired and the street restoration should be completed later this week.
