Series of main breaks causes water outages in the Northland
Due to six water main breaks near Spruce and Vivion Road, Munger and Seattle, Poe and 69 Highway, and 56th and NE Barnes Rd. approximately 300 northland and Claycomo water customers may be experiencing low or no water pressure. The lines are expected to be repaired by this evening.
Customers are reminded that when service is restored they should flush their water lines for several minutes. Air trapped in the lines can make the water appear cloudy, and customers should also remove faucet aerators and rinse them out.
