City suspends taxicab drivers for three days
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department has agreed to a suspension with Wayne Hurd and Michael Vann, both taxicab drivers, for three-days of their taxicab drivers’ certificates.
The suspension of Hurd’s driver’s certificate will begin on Monday, Aug. 22 and end Thursday, Aug. 25. The suspension of Vann’s driver’s certificate will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 23 and end Friday, Aug. 26. Both suspensions are the result of illegally soliciting business at the Kansas City International Airport. During the suspension, Hurd and Vann will not be allowed to operate a taxicab in the City of Kansas City, Mo.
