Back-to-school immunization clinic Aug. 16
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Health Department is holding a back-to-school immunization clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Health Department, 2400 Troost Ave.
Parents and guardians must present a copy of their child’s shot records or a letter from the child’s school stating what shots are needed. If the child previously had shots at the Health Department, parents and guardians may get a copy when they register at the event.
Immunizations are free for children who have no insurance, have limited insurance that does not cover immunization or are Medicaid eligible.
There are no appointments; participants should plan to arrive early. Frosty treats will be available for children at the clinic.
