Road closures due to water main breaks at 89 & Wornall, 110 & Holmes
A 12-inch water main break at 8737 Wornall has reduced traffic from four lanes to two between 97th and 90th on Wornall.
Holmes Road between 109th and Red Bridge is also closed due to a 12-inch water main break.
The break on Wornall was reported around 5 am this morning. Water is out on Wornall between 86th and 89th Terrace and on Hiawatha from Sweeny to Wornall. Crews are on site and the water main will be repaired today.
The 12-inch main break at 110th and Holmes has water off between 109th Terrace and Red Bridge on Holmes Road. Crews are on site and the water main will be repaired today. Please plan on using alternate routes. Detours will be posted.
Repairs to the roads are expected to be completed by Saturday.
