Boil Water Advisory Rescinded limits

A Boil Water Advisory issued by the KCMO Water Services Department on July 3, 2012 has been cancelled at 2:45 p.m. on July 4, 2012.

The affected area is south of I-70 to 87th Street, and Blue Ridge Cutoff east to the city limits.

Customers no longer need to boil water prior to drinking or cooking.

Tests on the water show it meets requirements for public drinking water and is safe to drink without boiling.

This precautionary Boil Water Advisory was issued due to low water pressure as a result of electrical power issues at a pump station.

For more information about the boil advisory contact Water Services Dispatch Office at 816-513-0416.

For media inquiries, contact Colleen Doctorian, public information officer for the Water Services, at 816-513-0232.
