Crown Center weekend street closures in effect for Maker Faire

The City of Kansas City, Mo., is advising motorists of street closures this weekend in the Crown Center District to accommodate Maker Faire Festival at Union Station.

Pershing Road, between Main Street and Kessler Road, closed Friday, June 22 at 8 a.m. Grand Boulevard, between 25th Street and Pershing Road, closed Friday, June 22 at 9 a.m. Both streets will reopen Monday, June 25 in the morning.

Maker Faire is a “show-and-tell” festival celebrating innovation, invention and creativity. More than 270 makers will demonstrate their innovations in technology, electronics, pyrotechnics, engineering, art and craft-making. For more information on Maker Faire, please visit
