The City of Kansas City, Mo., will begin airing “The Weekly Report” on its cable television channel, beginning Friday, June 11. This new program provides news and insight about the programs and services provided by City Departments. “The use of new inexpensive video technology to inform residents about the programs and services that the City offers is a great way to maximize our communications dollars and expand our ability to keep the public informed,” said Troy Schulte, Acting City Manager. “We are excited about the program’s potential to serve the community.”

The first airing of “The Weekly Report” includes information from the following departments: Fire, Public Works, Health, Parks and Recreation, Water Services and Aviation. Viewers will find a mixture of stories that keep them informed and aware of what’s going on with City programs and services.
