Residents advised about wastewater overflow in Round Grove Creek Watershed

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Department reports a wastewater overflow due to a debris blockage in front of 10602 E 41st St. on Friday, June 1st at 11:40 a.m.

The manhole was overflowing at a rate of 3 gallons per minute and ended at 12:30 p.m. The sewage did not enter the State’s waters. The Investigation crew checked the storm drainage creek along I-70 south of this address and found no sewage. A debris stoppage was opened in the sanitary manhole.
