Main break near 10th, Main expected to be repaired by 6 a.m.
A 10-inch water main break on 10th Street between Walnut and Main is anticipated to be back in service by 6 a.m. Friday. As the existing pipe was uncovered, it was noted that the pipe was stamped with the year “1896.”
In addition to the main repair, a valve will be installed and another valve will be replaced. Tenth Street between Main and Walnut will be closed; however, access to the parking garage will be provided.
