Tow Services changing process to accommodate citizen needs

Tow Services, a division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department, is assuming responsibility from Kansas City Police Department for the release of impounded vehicles effective Saturday, June 1.

Citizens with impounded vehicles should come to:

Location: 6817 Stadium Drive, Suite 116

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Payment must be made by money order, personal check, or cashier’s check. A picture ID and proof of vehicle ownership are required. Warrants must be satisfied through KCPD prior to release of vehicles.

These changes in operation are necessary to better utilize City resources and accommodate the needs of citizens.
