Residents invited to learn about City projects and improvements at Neighborhood Leaders Roundtable Meeting
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department will host its third quarterly Neighborhood Leaders Roundtable Meeting
at Northland Neighborhood, Inc., 4420 N.E. Chouteau Trafficway, on Thursday, May 9 from 6-7:30 p.m.
“This meeting presents a good opportunity for Northland residents to engage with their City staff and learn more about the initiatives and improvements the City is making in their area,” said Deletta Dean, principal assistant to the director of the Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department. “Residents can share their ideas and find out ways they can get more involved.”
The meeting will feature the following:
- The City Manager’s Office will present the City’s new open data catalog.
- The Police Department will provide an update on the Northland Motel Taskforce’s efforts.
- The Neighborhood Preservation Division will discuss recent enhanced code enforcement efforts in targeted areas.
- The Housing Division will provide an update on the Winnwood Project.
