Woodswether Road open house features conceptual plan
The City of Kansas City, Mo., invites the public to view draft conceptual layouts for potential Woodswether Road viaduct improvements at an open house on Tuesday, March 29, 5 to 7 p.m., at the Faultless Starch Building, 1009 West 8th St.
The Woodswether Road viaducts span the Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks in Kansas City’s Central Industrial District. The City’s Capital Projects Department has commissioned a team to study the viaducts and develop conceptual plans.
The open house will let residents speak with City staff and design consultants about the potential improvements and provide input that will be considered as the final recommendations are developed.
Media inquiries should be directed to Sean Demory, communications manager for the Capital Projects Department, 816-513-0059.
