City and Main Street Thriftway agree on settlement

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department and the managing officer of Main Street Thriftway, a grocery store, have agreed on a settlement of a $2,000 fine due to recent ordinance violations. Main Street Thriftway is located at 3967 Main St.

The settlement is the result of employees selling alcoholic beverages to minors, which is a City ordinance violation. As a condition of the settlement, the managing officer of Main Street Thriftway has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to employees about City ordinances.
