Bright Future application extended to March 4
The 7th Annual Bright Future Employment Fair application deadline has been extended to Friday, March 4 at 5 p.m. Individuals ages 16 and older interested in attending the fair must submit a resume and apply online at www.kcmo.org/engagekc.
The fair will take place Saturday, March 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kansas City Convention Center, 301 W. 13th St. Several local employers will be present to interview and hire individuals for paid internship positions.
The Bright Future program has provided more than 3,500 area residents with paid part-time, full-time and internship opportunities since its inception in 2005.
The program’s sponsoring partners are: the City of Kansas City, Mo.; JE Dunn Construction Company; Burns and McDonnell; the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce; UMB Bank; BKD, LLP; and Kansas City Power and Light.
