Storm Debris Tree Limb Disposal Information

Residents of Kansas City, Mo., should place tree limbs not exceeding 12 feet in length at the curb no later than 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, for curbside pickup. The pickup date has been moved ahead from the previously scheduled date of Feb.19 in order to expedite the City’s recovery efforts.

Effective Wednesday, Feb. 6, the City will have four drop-off sites open to receive storm debris tree limbs. These sites will be open from noon until 6 p.m., seven days a week. These locations include:

North site:
Hodge Park, N.E. 96th Street & N.E. Reinking Road. Directions: Take Interstate 435 to N.E. 96th Street exit. Go approximately one-quarter mile east on N.E. 96th Street to N.E. Reinking Road and turn right into the Hodge Park entrance. Follow signs to Hodge Park Ball Fields, which lead to the drop-off site.

Central site:
Environmental Campus, 4707 Deramus. Directions. From Interstate 435 or Interstate 35, exit on Front Street. From Interstate 435 go west to Chouteau Trafficway. From Interstate 35, go east to Chouteau Trafficway. Turn north on Chouteau, then right on Deramus.

Central site:
Swope Park, E. 63rd Street & Lewis Road. Directions: Take Interstate 435 to E. 63rd Street exit. Go west on E. 63rd Street to Lewis Road (Swope Park entrance). Go approximately one-quarter mile south on Lewis Road to the drop-off site.

South site:
Interstate 470 & Raytown Road at the southeast corner of Raytown Road and Interstate 470.
