City delays office hours by two hours Wednesday
The City of Kansas City, Mo., is notifying residents that in order to allow building maintenance workers adequate time for clearing snow from City facilities and sidewalks, as well as to allow sufficient travel time for City workers, business hours for the public and employees will be delayed by two hours on Wednesday, Feb 2. This delay does not apply to City workers who are associated with 24/7 service activities.
City Hall, community centers and the Municipal Court will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2. As a precaution, in the event that individuals scheduled for the 9 a.m. docket arrive, the Municipal Court will have two judges present.
All City Council Committee meetings have been cancelled for Wednesday, Feb. 2.
Residents needing to call the City’s 3-1-1 Action Center for issues other than snowplow activities will be able to do so starting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 2.
Residents are advised to check the City website, www.kcmo.org for updates on the status of City services that are impacted by the severe winter weather that moved into the City today.
