FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Jan. 17, 2007
City to re-publish RFP for print management services
The City of Kansas City, Mo., will re-publish a request for proposals for print management services.
The original RFP for these services was advertised in September 2005. City Manager Wayne A. Cauthen will adhere to all requests made Jan. 17 in a motion from the Finance and Audit Committee. Cauthen said the following steps will be taken:
A selection committee will be assembled consisting of City staff with subject matter expertise.
Although these services are not under the umbrella of public improvements and do not require a representative from the City Council, staff will adhere to the council's recommendation that a councilmember participate in this committee. Councilman Chuck Eddy, 6th District representative and chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee, will identify the councilmember who will sit on the committee.
The RFP will be re-published within the next 30 days.
