The Kansas City, Missouri Water Services Department (WSD) Wastewater Utility is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all wastewater treatment and pumping facilities. Nearly 96 million gallons of wastewater is treated daily. The division operates 7 treatment facilities, 15 flood pumping stations, and maintains over 2,500 miles of sewers throughout the City.
