The Street and Traffic Division of the Public Works Department is in the midst of a strategic planning process. The process has included public meetings, completion of a strategic plan report from an outside consultant, an implementation plan from the department, and a report to the priorities committee, transportation and infrastructure committee, and to the full council at business session.

As part of the process, a strategic plan was completed by an outside consultant. This plan includes an executive summary and several chapters of support data from the public meetings and surveys.
Another part of the process was to show how the department would implement the plan. Below is the implementation plan of the department.
