Ice Skating
All lakes are "Unsafe for Skating" unless posted otherwise.  A minimum of four (4) inches of hard and clear ice, measured in multiple locations across the body of water, is necessary before consideration can be given to posting a lake safe for skating. The following lake(s) are currently safe for skating:

Many of the lakes in Kansas City are stocked periodically by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
