Ice Skating
All lakes are "Unsafe for Skating" unless posted otherwise.  A minimum of four (4) inches of hard and clear ice, measured in multiple locations across the body of water, is necessary before consideration can be given to posting a lake safe for skating. The following lake(s) are currently safe for skating:

Fishing

Many of the lakes in Kansas City are stocked periodically by the Missouri Department of Conservation. For a complete list of the lakes stocked, visit the Missouri Department of Conservation. For the latest information about the Fish Stocking program, please call the Fish Stock Hotline at 816-525-0300 Ext. 4001.
