Open swim times
Monday through Friday:   10:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and 7 - 8:30 p.m.
Saturday:               11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Swim lessons
American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim programs are the most comprehensive and effective of their kind available for people of all ages. Completion certificates available through level 2. Instructors will determine the correct level for the swimmer. Class sizes are limited. Pre-registration required.  Registration deadline is one week prior to start of the first lesson of each session.
$35 for eight class session
 

Youth Swim Lessons:
Saturday, 10 - 10:45 a.m.
Ages 6 month - 14 years old

Adult Lessons:
Wednesday/Friday
9 - 9:45 a.m.
Age 15 and older.

Arthritis  
This program is designed around people of any age confronted with arthritis, fibromyalgia or other joint conditions. Exercise activities focus on increasing strength, flexibility and range of motion. A certified Arthritis Foundation instructor teaches the course.
Tuesday and Thursday, 9-9:45 a.m.
$15 for eight classes or $2 per class
or $2.50 per class and post hot tub use

Aquacise
This water aerobic exercise class focuses on improving overall cardiovascular health, increasing flexibility, improving strength and muscle tone through the use of hand buoys, steps, noodles, etc. Aquacise provides an excellent exercise alterative for individuals who find land-based exercise difficult or painful.  The water cushions movement and reduces impact on joints.
Tuesday/Thursday, 7-7:45 p.m.
Saturday, 9 - 9:45 a.m
$20 for eight classes or $2.50 per class
$5 per class and pre/post hot tub use

Silver Splash
As the name implies, this is a water exercise class. No actual swimming required. The class takes place in the shallow end of the pool and incorporates moves that improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. Special Silver Sneakers kickboards are provided for seniors to increase strength, balance and coordination.

Pool Rules

  1. All swimmers must wear a swim suit for girls and swim trunks for boys.  Basketball shorts or any other shorts that are not lined will NOT be allowed.
  2. Children under the age of 12 must have someone 18 years or older on the pool deck with them.
  3. Street shoes, food and drinks are prohibited on pool deck.
  4. All swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
  5. Profanity is prohibited.
  6. Water wings cannot be worn in the pool.
  7. Gregg Klice Community Center is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.Adhere to lifeguard instructions and whistles.
In case of inclement weather we will do our best to call you.  The weather policy is:  If there is thunder and or lighting in the area, the pool will close immediately.  The pool will not re-open until 30 minutes after the last thunder clap or sight on lighting.
