New annuals and perennials perform beautifully in Kansas City

Dan Parcel, who has been retail director for Manhattan, KS. based Kew Valley Greenhouses for 22 years, will present the program.
Kaw Valley Greenhouses operates some 50 seasonal garden centers in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska, including 20 in the KC area.
The company has been in business since 1967, when Pat and Leon Edmunds moved their brood of nine children to a farm in the country where the kids had room to run. There was an old greenhouse on the property, and Leon has a doctorate in plant pathology, so they decided to put them both to work, as well as their ready-made work force, to start a business.
The program is free, and everyone is welcome.
