| Support for Neighborhoods |
The Neighborhood Services Division provides a broad variety of services that support neighborhood activity in Kansas City. By so doing, we hope to help contribute to their strong and vibrant growth as an integral element of our city's social fabric. | Best Practices are suggestions, taken from both local and national sources, that may help your neighborhood grow and thrive. | | Our New Group Checklist is for fledgling groups, those who are reactivating an extinct group, or those who are interested in starting a new group in their area. | | Many of our handouts and informational materials are now available online for you to print and take to your own meetings, even if our staff cannot be there. | | Flyer and Newsletter Printing, as well as large-scale maps, are available as a service to qualified organizations that are registered with our office. | | Currently, we are conducting a pilot run of a Code Enforcement Education program that allows individuals who have completed the program to work closely with their Code Enforcement Officers to process Nuisance Code and Property Maintenance Code violations more efficiently. If the trial runs successfully, we will make this available to additional volunteers as well. |
If you have questions about any of these services, you may contact our office at (816) 513-3200 or e-mail us at Solutions_NCSD@kcmo.org.
