The Neighborhood Services Division provides a broad variety of services that support neighborhood activity in Kansas City. By so doing, we hope to help contribute to their strong and vibrant growth as an integral element of our city's social fabric. It is the duty of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department to serve and assist our citizens to make Kansas City, Missouri a safe place to live.

	Best Practices are suggestions, taken from both local and national sources, that may help your neighborhood grow and thrive.
	Our New Group Checklist is for fledgling groups, those who are reactivating an extinct group, or those who are interested in starting a new group in their area.
	Many of our handouts and informational materials are now available online for you to print and take to your own meetings, even if our staff cannot be there.
	Flyer and Newsletter Printing, as well as large-scale maps, are available as a service to qualified organizations that are registered with our office.
