| Technology Support Division |
The mission of the Technology Support Division is to ensure that the highest level of customer relationships is achieved by providing tools, support services, training and channels of communication through a single point of contact for all technology service requests. Division functions include:
- Desktop Support - Ensures maximum usability of standardized desktop equipment such as PCs, phones and PDAs in a timely manner.
- HelpDesk - Provides a single point of contact to the customers for technology service requests so that customers' needs are satisfied as quickly as possible and that the level and quality of services provided by all IT divisions are tracked.
- PC Lifecycle - Ensures desktop technology is current, cost effective and compliant through the scheduled rotation of equipment
- Technology Training - Provides training to assure the smallest gap possible between the City's technology capability and the user's ability to utilize the technology
- Aviation IT Support - Provides onsite technology support to the City's Aviation Department
- Fire IT Support - Provides onsite technology support to the City's Fire Department
- Water IT Support - Provides onsite technology support the City's Water Services Department
