Tuition Assistance Program

The Education and Development Division of the Human Resources Department admisiters the Tuition Assistance Program for City employees. The purpose of the program is to encourage employees to take courses at area educational institutions which will help improve their performance in their current positions and/or which will prepare them to be eligible for promotion to higher level responsibilities in City employment.

AR 2-04 governs administration of the tuition assistance program and includes the form to request tuition assistance.

PLEASE NOTE: Because the Tuition Assistance Program was not funded for fiscal year 2010 (May 1, 2009 - April 30, 2010), we are not currently accepting applications. If the program is funded for fiscal year 2010, the Education & Development Division will communicate to City employees that they can start submitting applications.
