The Health Department, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, provides Women, Infants and Children services, or WIC, to residents of the Missouri side of the metropolitan area.
Services offered by WIC include nutritious food to supplement the regular diet, recommendations for healthy eating and referrals for health care.
Infants and children under the age of 5 and women who are pregnant or have recently given birth, who have low or no income and have a nutrition or health problem are eligible for this program. Call 816-513-6360 to set up an appointment to see if you qualify.
At this time the Health Department has WIC clinics at two locations to try to be available to more people. Clinic locations and times are listed below.
