The Food Protection Program is responsible for assuring the regular inspections of food service establishments within the city limits of Kansas City, Mo.
All food establishments are educated and informed about certain health hazards and food code violations. These inspections help to ensure that these establishments are in compliance with codes outlined in the Kansas City Food Code and the establishment is taking measures to guarantee that consumers are safe from food borne illness. This also ensures that the food served in these establishments meet certain standards and is safe for consumption.
