All septic haulers that transport waste through the city limits of Kansas City, Mo., must be inspected and permitted each year by the Health Department. Permits are valid from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31. Each vehicle must be inspected and have a separate permit.
Renewal reminder letters are sent to each hauler every October. Haulers must contact the Health Department at 816-513-6192 to make an appointment for inspection. Prior to this inspection, haulers must provide a signed and notorized copy of our Waste Hauler's Statement.
Once a vehicle passes inspection, the hauler is issued a permit. A permit fee of $60 per permitt is due at the time of issuance.
