The City of Kansas City, Mo., Fire Department exists to provide a resource of competent, caring, capable assistance to the citizens of our community. Every encounter with a citizen or visitor is an opportunity to fulfill our mission, and each member of the agency must stand committed to deliver the very best of his or her ability with each opportunity to serve.
