Instructions for using this report
This report is intended to allow the user to look up certificate holders by certificate type and name.
To find a specific certificate holder, please do the following:
- Click on the certificate holders link that follows
- Select a certificate type from the drop-down list
- Click the submit button.

There are other factors which affect a certificate holder's eligibility to perform and oversee regulated tradeswork, such as a suspension, revocation, etc. It is possible for an individual not to show up on the list because, although he/she has submitted renewal fees due and/or taken care of other account problems, those items are still in turnaround (not yet posted) at the time the report is run. Consequently, it is possible that an individual may appear on this list and not be in good standing or may not appear on this list yet be in good standing. The appearance of an individual's name on the list does not in any way imply a City endorsement or recommendation.
A certificate of qualification does not in and of itself entitle an individual to perform or supervise regulated, construction-related tradeswork, except where the individual is either appropriately licensed as a trades contractor or is in the direct employ of, and not a subcontractor to, an appropriately licensed contractor. The licensed contractor is also required to carry a business license as a general contractor, as well as a business license for any additional specialty trades (demolition, sign work, and house moving, among them), from the Finance Department, (816) 513-1135; and to register its name with the State of Missouri, (816) 889-2925.
