Stream Buffer Ordinance
The City Council passed Kansas City's first stream buffer ordinance on Aug. 21, 2008. The ordinance became effective Feb. 14, 2009. This landmark ordinance protects our streamways and improves the condition of our environment and the health of all Kansas Citians.
