Here are some quick tips to make your travel easier and safer when traveling abroad:
- Register with the State Department so they can better assist you in an emergency
- Leave copies of itinerary and passport data page
- Check your overseas medical insurance coverage
- Familiarize yourself with local conditions and laws
- Take precautions to avoid being a target of crime
- Contact U.S. Embassies and Consulates whose information appears on the Bureau of Consular Affairs. They will be able to assist you, should an emergency arise

International Travel ClinicThe City’s Health Department provides travel immunization by appointment. Please call 816-513-6128 for availability and appointment scheduling. TB skin tests are available on a walk-in basis.
