Mayor Funkhouser to Hold Tele-Town Hall on Schools First Initiative

Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser will be holding a Tele-Town Hall to outline his Schools First initiative to Kansas City parents, teachers and administrators. The call will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9^th.

“I am excited to introduce the framework of the Schools First plan to those it will most directly impact,” said Mayor Funkhouser. “Parents, teachers, administrators and neighborhood advocates will get to hear more about the plan and ask me questions.”

All residents with any connection to any school (public, private, faith-based or charter) physically located in Kansas City are urged to call in to learn more.
