Household Hazardous Waste Facility closed Sat., Sept. 4 through Tues., Sept. 8

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be closed Saturday, Sept. 4 through Tuesday, Sept. 8th in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Residents are reminded that appointments are needed to drop-off items at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility.

Appointments can be made by calling 513-8400 between 8 am to 4 pm, Wednesday, Sept. 8th – Saturday, Sept. 11th.

Regular hours to schedule appointments are 8 am to 4 pm, Tuesday - Saturday. Drop-off appointments can be made for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Regular swap and shop hours are 9 am to 4 pm, Tuesday – Saturday.
